When It Rains, It Pours

Mac was in Arkansas when I called her last night. She is of course her father's child, and everything is rolling off of her like water off a duck's back. Little gets to her, and when it does, it isn't for long.

But when you give in for just one second, life reminds you that things can indeed get worse.

Rotormommy's maternal grandmother passed away last night (leave it to HH6 to rename herself something more appropriate). I never had much of a chance to get to know her personally, sadly dementia started taking her long ago. That coupled with the distance that separated us from her and the madness of everyday life made visiting difficult, and even more so once Butters was born.

So now we're off to south of the Gump to attend services. This has been coming for several days now, and this coupled with Mac's departure has left me without the motivation or desire to do much in the way of writing, or to take part in an interview I was to do. (Stefan, my apologies brother. Once we get back, I'll shoot you an e-mail and we'll bang this interview out.)

Right now, it ain't pouring, this is the midst of monsoon season.

Don't worry mate - there are more important things in life than an interview. I'm sure we'll get round to it at some point. Flick me an email when things have calmed down. Sorry to hear abour you loss.

Warmly
