January 06 hmmmmm. you have until Jan 09 to send your console in for a FREE repair from MS. 3 years from date of purchase RROD warranty. Go to xbox.com click the support link and follow instructions for the RROD repair order. mine took about 2 1/2 weeks from the time i filled out the forms to the time my 360 was on my doorstep. good Luck man!
