I'm so very sorry you can't be with her every minute of every day - but especially right now - on her birthday and for Christmas.
I'll be thinking about you guys... I know how hard it is to have your heart walking around thousands of miles away.
And you rock that camera! Totally agree that it isn't about the camera you shoot with (though I love mine a little more than I love my husband!!!) but what you know - still, I'm loving the pictures you've come out with lately!
